Blue, Yellow & Green Lobster Rope Doormat

This tri-colored doormat is handwoven in Down East Maine with authentic float-rope used by lobstermen to tether their lobster traps. Unfortunately, float-rope was entangling whales, so Maine lobstermen have switched to safer "sink-rope". The old float-rope is being turned in, and rather than being sent to landfills, it is being recycled into these unique doormats from Down East.

Virtually indestructible, our doormats can withstand even the worst weather Mother Nature throws at them. Each doormat is resistant to mold, mildew, and water. Clean-up is easy, too. Just shake them our or hose them down. Recommended for non-skid surfaces only.

Available in three sizes: Medium (approximately 18" x 30"), MediumPLUS (approximately 21" x 33"), and Large (approximately 24" x 36"). Choose from the widest variety of color options available anywhere - based on our in-stock inventory.

Because each doormat from Down East Maine is handcrafted from the authentic Maine lobster float ropes that have been pulled from the Atlantic Ocean, no two are ever quite the same, so exact colors and tones may vary. But, we've done our best to represent the colors we have and know you'll be delighted when you receive yours.
