These innovative doormats are handwoven from recycled Maine float-rope that once tethered lobster traps together in the ocean. Unfortunately, float-rope is no longer used because it often entangled the Northern Right Whale, a protected species. Rather than sending the leftover float-rope to landfills, a clever Mainer began weaving them into these colorful doormats.

Lobster Rope Doormats are tough and long-lasting because they are resistant to mildew, mold, and water. Plus, they're easy to clean - simply shake them out or hose them down. Recommended for non-skid surfaces only.

Available in three sizes: Medium (approximately 18" x 30"), MediumPLUS (approximately 21" x 33"), and Large (approximately 24" x 36"). Choose from the widest variety of color options available anywhere - based on our in-stock inventory.

Because each doormat is handcrafted from recycled Maine float rope, no two are ever quite the same. Exact colors and tone may vary. But, we've done our best to represent the colors we have available, and we're sure you will be delighted when you receive yours.
