Handwoven in Down East Maine with authentic float-rope once used by lobstermen to tether their lobster traps. Virtually indestructible, these mats can withstand even the worst weather Mother Nature throws at them. Clean up is a snap, too. Just shake the mat out or hose it down - it's even quick-drying!
Each doormat is colorful, in original colors used by genuine Maine lobstermen, and adds a cheerful and warm welcome to home, cottage, or camp. Recommended for non-skid surfaces only.
Available in three sizes: Medium (approximately 18" x 30"), MediumPLUS (approximately 21" x 33"), and Large (approximately 24" x 36"). Choose from the widest variety of color options available anywhere - based on our in-stock inventory.
Because each doormat from Down East Maine is handcrafted from the authentic Maine lobster float ropes that have been pulled from the Atlantic Ocean, no two are ever quite the same, so exact colors/tones cannot be guaranteed, and some float-ropes have multi-colored flecks within them. But, we've done our best to represent the colors we have available, and we're sure you will be delighted when you receive yours!
