Fragrant wine-soaked oak, recycled from Napa Valley barrels, is the newest way to infuse incredible flavor and depth to all of your outdoor meals. Retired oak barrels, once used to create California’s rich reds, are recycled into these gourmet grilling chips. After years of soaking up all this wine, It only takes a couple handfuls to add unbelievable flavor to all of your grilled meats. Simply soak the chips in water about 15 minutes before cooking.
Add to your grill’s smoker tray, or make your own tray with a piece of tin foil folded into a packet (about the size of a hot dog bun). Load the wood and water into the foil and poke a few holes into the top of the packet. Place on the grill next to the food for a wonderfully smoky grill. For charcoal or wood BBQ's, throw the soaked wood directly onto the fire when you start cooking.
